I know that athletes, children, and adults alike can benefit greatly not only from chiropractic care, but also acupuncture, better nutrition and proper supplementation. My mission is to educate as many people as I can about these amazing health benefits."
When not in the office, Dr. DeGaray enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Mike, and their three children Michael, Samantha and Emerson.
Chiropractor Jesse Czajka D.C.
Dr. Jesse Czajka graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic's Florida campus. While in school, he developed a strong interest in working with athletes and treating sports related injuries. Recognizing that athletic injuries can often times be very complex, he focused much of his efforts learning how to properly evaluate, diagnose and treat injuries of this nature. He has a passion for evaluating human movement and identifying potential risk factors for current injuries or injuries waiting to happen. He believes that it is important to educate his patients and empower them to take control of their musculoskeletal health and minimize trips to his office due to injury. He takes pride in being "not your average chiropractor" and being able to surprise people by treating injuries that they didn't think possible.
Chiropractor Chelsea Vallario D.C.
Dr. Chelsea Vallario has traveled the country to achieve her education and career goals. She was born and raised in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Being a multisport athlete her entire life, she naturally pursued a health- and sports-based education. With her love for sports and activity of all kinds, she was drawn to North Carolina in order to complete her Undergraduate degree. Dr. Vallario studied Kinesiology and Human Physiology at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. She completed her undergraduate degree in three years allowing her to immediately begin her Doctorate program in St. Louis, MO. She has earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Life Science, and a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Logan University (St. Louis, MO).
Dr. Vallario’s love for chiropractic began at age 16 after suffering from severe shin splints and debilitating knee pain to the extent of nearly ending her young athletic involvement. After a number of physicians were unable to explain or treat the pain she was referred to a local chiropractor. “Finally, someone was able to explain the source of my pain and mechanical dysfunctions causing it, treat it, and teach me exercises to prevent it in the future. Within two weeks I was back on the field pain free for the first time in years.”
Building on her positive personal experience, becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic aligned perfectly with her passion for helping others in both function and nutrition. In order to offer her patients the highest quality, well-rounded care, Dr. Vallario is also a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and has extensive training in working with extremities. She is eager to provide proactive healthcare to her community members as part of the Integrative Chiropractic and Natural Medicine Team.
Chiropractor David Ritchie D.C.
Dr. David Ritchie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He moved to California shortly after graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS degree in Computer Science. Dr. Ritchie suffered with many life-long health challenges including severe migraine headaches, debilitating seasonal allergies, and back and neck pain. Taking the advice of a friend, he found a chiropractor who helped him restore his health and he found complete relief from his symptoms. Dr. Ritchie found an incredible passion for chiropractic and the body's ability to heal itself. He decided to go back to school and graduated from Life Chiropractic College West, cum laude, in 2006.
Dr. Ritchie opened a practice in California and began helping people of all ages find health through natural means. Dr. Ritchie was introduced to clinical nutrition after his first son, James, was born with health issues that neither medicine nor chiropractic were able to help. A colleague was able to help his son in a matter of days using the same techniques Dr. Ritchie uses currently in practice. He became obsessed with clinical nutrition and quickly introduced it into his practice.
"I have seen some absolutely incredible things. When you give the body the opportunity, it can heal. I never underestimate the body's ability to heal itself."
Dr. Ritchie, his wife Jane and two children, James and Owen decided to relocate out of California. They found a home in Charlotte and soon-after he joined the team at Integrative Chiropractic & Natural Medicine.
